Nylon Insert Nut
Nylon Insert Nuts
Hexagon locking nuts with a nylon locking ring inserted. Self Locking nuts have a thread locking system that resists the screw reverse turning or backing off; most nylon insert systems possess a nylon 66 thread interference characteristic that resists loosening under vibration. They are referred to as ‘prevailing torque nuts’ or 'stiff nuts'.
