HASTELLOY BOLTS AND FASTENERS

Hastelloy Bolts, Socket cap screws, Studs, Nuts and bright fasteners made from nickel steel alloys that display elevated resistance to corrosion, and Hastelloy is one of the best. Hastelloy fasteners have outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking, crevice corrosion cracking and all manner of pitting.  Fasteners made from Hastelloy metal fusions tend to find good use across a wide range of applications including chemical usages like wet chlorine that might otherwise oxidise the metal. Additional elements such as molybdenum and chromium pad out the profile of an alloy regarded as one of the world’s most robust fastener materials.

Hastelloy B2 Fasteners

Hastelloy B2 fasteners have a high resistance to hydrochloric acid, aluminium chloride catalysts and other chemicals. Excellent high-temperature strength in inert and vacuum atmospheres. Hastelloy B2 is a nickel, molybdenum alloy particularly suited for equipment handling in reducing chemical environments. Hastelloy fasteners are used in the Chemical process industries involved sulfuric, phosphoric, hydrochloric and acetic acid. Temperature usage ranges 20 to 800°C depending on specific environments.

.

Hastelloy B3 Fasteners

Hastelloy B3 alloy fastener material performs in a similar way to B2 Bolts and nuts, though B3 is not recommended for use where the fastener may be in the presence of ferric or cupric salts. These salts may cause rapid corrosion failure. Ferric or cupric salts may develop when hydrochloric acid comes in contact with iron or copper.

Hastelloy C4 Fasteners

Fasteners made from Hastelloy C4 alloy have exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemical process environments, including ferric chloride, cupric chloride and other strong oxidisers; chlorine, hot contaminated solutions both organic and inorganic, formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, and seawater or brine solutions. Fasteners made from Hastelloy C4 alloy resists the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat zone, making the fixings suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition.

Hastelloy C22 Fasteners

Fasteners made from Hastelloy C22 alloy have exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemical process environments, including strong oxidisers such as ferric and cupric chlorides, chlorine, hot contaminated solutions (organic and inorganic), formic and acetic acids, acetic anhydride, and seawater and brine solutions. C-22 alloy resists the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone, thus making it suitable for most chemical process applications in the as-welded condition.

.

Hastelloy G30 Fasteners

Fasteners made from Hastelloy G30 alloy have a high chromium and nickel base which shows superior corrosion resistance over most other nickel and iron-based alloys in commercial phosphoric acids as well as many complex environments containing highly oxidising acids such as nitric/hydrochloric, nitric/hydrofluoric and sulphuric acids. Hastelloy G30 Bolts, Engineers studs are a few of the fasteners produced in  Hastelloy G30. For use in the Nuclear Fuel and Nuclear Waste processing industries along with Petrochemical Bolting, Fertilizer and Pesticide manufacturing industries.   internationally.

.

Hastelloy X  Fasteners

Hastelloy X  Fasteners are a high-temperature, molybdenum matrix stiffened, nickel, chromium and iron alloy with outstanding oxidation resistance, and exceptional strength at up to 1200°C. It is used for fasteners in combustion chambers, afterburners, aircraft exhaust tailpipes and land-based gas turbine engines, industrial furnaces, and in nuclear power plants.

.

Hastelloy C276 Fasteners

Fasteners made from Alloy C276 Hastelloy have excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking and oxidising. Used in atmospheres up to 1000 °C Hastelloy C276 has exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemical environments. Typical applications include equipment components in chemical and petrochemical organic chloride processes and processes utilising halide or acid catalysts. Pulp and paper digesters and bleach areas, scrubbers and ducting for flue gas desulfurization, pharmaceutical and food processing equipment.
